We are asking you to join to the fight against COVID-19 – with style!
We all have felt the effects of the pandemic roaming around the globe. TMK is also greatly affected by the situation, but we wanted to do something about it.
On April 1st we made an April fools joke of making a pink Tree Shear and people got excited.
So we put our heads together with Ritchie Bros. and catched two birds with one stone.
TMK 300 “Pink Edition” is now on charity auction. We will donate 50% of the selling price to WHO’s COVID-19 response fund (learn more from here: https://covid19responsefund.org/) and Ritchie Bros. will donate the buyers fee to a charity of their choosing to fight Corona virus.
Now is a unique once in a lifetime change to get yourself a pink TMK 300 shear and also help the cause at the same time. 🎀
We also highly encourage everyone to help fight this pandemic by donating to effective charities if possible, but at least by acting according the local recommendations to help reduce the virus from spreading. 🌍
TMK 300 the “Pink Edition” auction ends on wednesday 29.4.2020.
No worries: TMK Tree Shear works normally during a coronavirus pandemic.
We want to emphasize now that TMK is doing the job as usual and tree shears are delivered to customers as normal. New facilities and freight partners allow extremely fast delivery times to customers. (However, we do not supply toilet paper.)
Some of our people are already doing most of the work remotely, and they have switched to working full-time from home, but that doesn’t affect our company’s reachability. You can contact us by phone, email, website, social media channels and smoke signals.
So now is a good time to invest in a high-quality tree shear and head towards the forest. There is no danger of being exposed to the corona when you snap trees by yourself in the woods.
The Grand Opening of the TMK factory will be celebrated on Friday, November 29, 2019. The factory doors are opened at 12h and the actual opening ceremony will begin at 12:30. Building project began in March, and since then there has been Factory project updates in social media. Next week’s Factory Project update is the 17th and the final one. Check out the videos on TMK Tree shear Facebook or Youtube! However, the picture never beats reality, so next Friday you can experience the TMK factory live in Hankasalmi: Welcome!
In the Opening we can hear greetings from Matti Mäkinen, Mayor of Hankasalmi, and Tuomo Silvasti, a friend of Tenho. The keynote speaker will be Arto Tiitinen, CEO of Isku-Yhtymä Oyj. Overall the Factory Grand Opening will be packed with the authentic TMK family vibe.
The inaugural ceremony will be followed by a banquet of coffee, and then there are guided tours for exploring the newly rugged spaces.
TMK hired two new employees at the start of the year to strengthen our continuosly growing market. José Fernández and Robert Kurki started working with permanent contracts in early January 2019.

TMK keeps growing and today we celebrated the 1500th TMK 300 shear in our factory Multimek.
TMK 300 is the product that this company has been built on, so we were very proud to hand over the 1500th shear to our Norweigan Importer Richard W. Naas from Landbruksteknikk AS.
We also wanted to recognize Ville Pietikäinen from Multimek Oy with “The most improved worker of 2018” award, for his hard work and good communication towards us in the factory!
We had the honor to have the factory workers to celebrate with us.
Today 22.3.2019 we announced our building project to the public in Hankasalmi, Finland.
We are starting to build our own production and headquarters.
TMK’s business has been growing strongly for the past years and now it’s time to take the next step to provide our customers even better service and higher quality.
The growth opportunities are still very strong for TMK and as new markets open up internationally. These new production facilities accompanied with efficient training center, will improve our customer experience through higher quality products, faster response time and more thoroughly trained sales teams across the globe.
The building process has now been started with ground work and the factory is to be completed on November 2019.
We will be sharing our progress with the project with you frequently, so remember to follow our social media platforms to stay up to date on the situation!
Here is a couple of photos from the reveal event.
Thank you all for coming to the reveal event!
We hope to see you in the factory’s opening party next fall.
Very popular attachment, especially on TMK 300, the Delimber has been available for TMK 200 for a while and now finally for TMK 400 as well. Whatever the size of your machine, you can now add the Delimber to your shear package and thus ensure the best possible versatility to your tree clearing job.
Our Delimber works without any expensive feeding systems, so it is very simple and mechanically controlled attachment. With Delimber TMK 400 can de-limb up to 400 mm trees. You can even use the Delimber for material handling and for cleaning the fallen brush as you can see from the video below.
TMK Tree Shear is soon to be seen at the Technische Kontakt Dagen. From 31 May to 2 June, the Nobelhorst in Almere (the Netherlands) will be converted into the largest demonstration expo in Western Europe for earthmoving and demolition equipment. We look forward to see you at TKD in stand 3.
